For over ten years, Office Administrator Laura Kistner has provided creative and administrative support for government and public affairs services in the Sacramento office. She is responsible for the creative and technical aspects of the Dolphin Group’s client activities including web page development, presentation technology and the development of collateral materials. Laura also handles all aspects of FPPC compliance and reporting for the Dolphin Group’s lobbying clients.

Account Executive Dan Geis specializes in regulatory affairs, and is currently active in energy, agricultural, resource and general business issues for the Dolphin Group.  Much of his time is spent advocating before the California Public Utilities Commission and the Legislature with regard to energy and water policy, utility rate design, association management and public affairs.

With more than twenty years in media, public affairs and public policy, Senior Account Executive J.P. Cativiela brings a wide range of skills and experience to the Dolphin Group. J.P. has worked extensively in assisting clients in communicating complex issues to the media, regulators and the general public. His current responsibilities include oversight of a statewide coalition, for which he oversees media relations, regulatory affairs and advertising.

As Vice President of the Sacramento office Brian Rees brings a broad range of legislative affairs, policy, and state budget experience. Brian is currently involved with a number of the firm’s clients, including Marriott International, the California Poultry Federation, Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority, Banfield Pet Hospitals and the National Animal Interest Alliance.  Prior to joining the Dolphin Group he served as staff to the California Legislature.

As President and managing director of the Sacramento office, Michael is responsible for overseeing the firm's public affairs and governmental relations practices. With expertise in agriculture, energy, water, finance, resource planning, health care and environmental issues, Michael has extensive working relationships with public officials and media representatives involved in these areas. Before joining Dolphin, he served as senior consultant to the Joint Legislative Audit Committee.
