Dolphin Group Announces New Hire

Dolphin Group announces hiring Brandon Louey as its new account executive. Brandon will join a growing public affairs practice that works with some of the most high profile companies in the country.

“Brandon’s diligence and creativity will enhance the services we provide to our clients,” said Kathy Gatherum Lucker, partner and CFO at Dolphin Group. “He is a strong addition to our growing and dynamic team of public affairs and public relations professionals dedicated to providing the most creative thinking and effective services to our clients.”

Brandon Louey joined Dolphin Group in January and brings with him experience in media relations, research, and coalition building. Previously, he interned for current US House Majority Leader, Kevin McCarthy, and a lobbying firm in Washington, D.C. At Dolphin, Brandon works on some tech, energy, and retail clients focused on media engagement, social media, community engagement and coalition building. Brandon is fluent in Spanish and graduated from UCLA.

Brandon has formerly served as the Finance Director and Alumni Relations Coordinator for UCLA’s Alumni Scholars Club, where he pursued funding opportunities for the club’s scholar programs and spearheaded efforts to foster greater alumni-student relations. He also was the past External Vice President for the UCLA Pre-Law Society and developed programs and organized events for pre-law students to engage with the Deans of Admissions from the top law schools in the country. Brandon is also an avid participant in community service and led multiple efforts with UCLA’s Volunteer Center to provide service opportunities for UCLA students to give back to the Los Angeles community.
